Teary Farewell

Time will come, our paths will meet again...

Last Monday, March 2, 2020 was my last day at Pelita Nusantara School. We attended the school's flag ceremony in the morning. After the ceremony, we went to our classes to say that it's our last day. It was hard for me to leave because in a short period of time I am already attached to the pupils. I consider them as my little siblings. No words can explain how happy I am to be with them. I was so sad to leave that time and I cried because I dont want to go. On the other hand, I was so thankful to Sir Deki and the Primary 3b pupils for all the memories and their contribution to my growth during my stay in Indonesia. I will never forget each of them and I am hoping that someday I can go back to Bandung to see them.

This photo shows the pupils hugging me while I was teary during my last day with them.

This was my picture showing how grateful I am to Primary 3b and Sir Deki taken inside Primary 3b's classroom at Pelita Nusantara School, Bandung, Indonesia last March 2,2020.

I was so vulnerable because I couldn't contain my emotions that time. Even for a short period of time, I learn to love the pupils. I became so attached to them that's why knowing I will leave them made me cry. I was like a mother that couldn't leave her children.

I also thanked Sir Ben and Primary 4a for all the memories. I truly admire the pupils' brilliance and dedication to studies.

We also didn't forget to thank Miss TriRisky Amelia, the principal of Pelita Nusantara School for welcoming us as Sea Teachers in their school. We learn a lot in the school and our hearts are full of admiration for the dedicated academic staffs, the adorable pupils, commendable facilities and globally responsive curriculum.
